1. Our commitment
NITARTI works to make its website, system and services usable by everyone, including people with disabilities, in accordance with Israel’s Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.
2. Accessibility level and standard
We are working to improve public website accessibility in line with WCAG Level AA guidance. Checks cover content structure, labels, keyboard navigation, focus, contrast, narrow layouts and motion preferences. Automated and manual browser checks do not certify full conformance.
This version removes claims of screen-reader testing for which verified documentation was not provided. Dedicated NVDA and VoiceOver testing and a full professional assessment have not yet been completed.
3. Website accessibility measures
- Organized semantic structure with hierarchical headings, landmarks and a “Skip to main content” link.
- Keyboard navigation controls, visible focus, Escape to close menus and focus management in mobile navigation.
- Alternative text for meaningful images and icons; decorative images are marked for screen readers to ignore.
- Text and control colors are checked for contrast; information includes labels and does not rely on color alone.
- Forms with associated labels, required-field indicators and clear text error messages.
- Adjustments for narrow screens and enlarged text; browser zoom is not blocked.
- Respect for the user’s reduced-motion preference (prefers-reduced-motion).
- Videos are decorative backgrounds only, with no soundtrack or verbal information, so captions are not required. Any future video containing speech will include Hebrew captions.
- Downloadable documents (brochures, quotations, specifications) will be provided in an accessible format, or an accessible alternative will be offered on request.
4. System and app accessibility
This statement covers only the public website. The business platform and app operate separately and were not assessed in this update. Contact the accessibility coordinator for information about platform accommodations.
5. Assistive technology
Technical checks were performed in Chrome. We do not have verified documentation of this version being tested with NVDA or VoiceOver and therefore do not claim those tests are complete. If you encounter difficulty, contact us with your browser and assistive-technology details.
6. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts may not yet be fully accessible, including:
- Embedded third-party components (video players, maps, chat tools) outside the Company’s control.
- Older content and previously uploaded documents.
- Interactive geographic maps, for which a text alternative is offered.
We continue to make fixes and improvements. Please tell us if you encounter difficulties so we can address them promptly.
7. Company office accessibility
Address: 4 Moshe Dayan St, Haifa.
The office is not accessible to people with disabilities. As of this statement’s update, the offices have no designated disabled parking, no accessible entrance or elevator access, and no accessible toilets.
- Disabled parking: unavailable.
- Entrance and elevator access: not accessible.
- Accessible toilets: unavailable.
- Alternative service channels: All enquiries, requests and services are available by email, phone and the website form, without an office visit. If a meeting is needed, we will arrange an accessible alternative venue or an online meeting in advance and at no charge.
